What is Adobe Creative Cloud

Gone are the days when would receive a CD or DVD disc to install your Adobe products like Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Instead of a one time purchase, Adobe now require an ongoing subscription to access your desired software.

The software is still installed locally but users need to go online once a month to verify their subscription. The benefits of the online subscription is that users have access to a wider range of Adobe software and there are extra services including 20GB of storage and free software updates as they are released.



Included in Adobe CC is the old favourites Photoshop and Illustrator, along with InDesign, Premiere Pro, Flash Professional, Audition, Dreamweaver, InCopy, After Effects, Prelude, and SpeedGrade. But it doesn’t stop there, if you subscribe to the full package you also get the new companion and add-on software packages such as Edge Animate, Bridge, and Media Encoder.
