Hike in Aid of Syria Refugees

Schools have closed and health centres have shut down or become too dangerous for families to reach. The violence has also forced tens of thousands of Syrian children to flee their homes and seek shelter in neighbouring countries. Well over 120 000 people have fled to neighbouring countries, Jordan, Turkey, Iraq and Lebanon.

The staff of New Horizons and friends, some of which include Syrian natives, are climbing up to Maulin peak above Powerscourt waterfall and back again. All in aid of Unicef’s Syria appeal so please sponsor this worthy cause. All proceeds will go to Unicef’s Syria Appeal where Escalating violence has put the lives of 1.5 million people at risk.
